Thunder Bay Hydro Peaksaver PLUS program

You can connect with Thunder Bay Hydro at the  2014 Spring Home & Garden show, in the Coliseum, Booth #14 & 15.

It’s easy to saveONenergy with peaksaver PLUS !

Join thousands of households in Ontario and manage your daily electricity use, by participating in the Thunder Bay Hydro  peaksaver PLUS program.

As part of the program, Thunder Bay homeowners will receive a FREE Aztech Energy Display which shows how much electricity is being used in real-time. To qualify, customers must have a central air conditioning unit in good working order, electric hot water tank OR an inground pool pump. Once enrolled, a technician will come to your home and install a load management device.

After the device is installed, it can be remotely activated to slightly reduce your central air conditioners; electric water heater’s or pool pump’s electricity demand automatically. Activations only occur on weekdays, weekends and holidays are excluded; plus you can opt out of an activation at any time with advance notice.
